Product Information
Italian-born graphic designer Leonetto Cappiello traveled to Paris in 1898 to draw advertisements. He became famous for ads such as this one for Camapari (1921), which recommends the bitter, cherry-pink alcoholic drink as an aperitif, to be taken before dinner. Campari is made according to a secret recipe originally developed in 1860 by Gaspare Campari. “Campari l'aperitif” is 21.4-inches by 25.4-inches and is framed in satin black with a Devonshire mat. It is protected by museum quality Plexiglas. This print is proudly made in the USA.
