The Microplane® 2-Sided Box Grater includes a protective slider attachment that protects fingers and ensures added control. Use the fine blade side for Citrus Zest, Hard Cheese, Nuts, Ginger and Garlic. Use the extra coarse side for grating of cheddar & other soft cheeses and vegetables. Two-sided grater has fine on one side, extra coarse on the other Knuckle Protecting Slider Attachment Fits on Either Side Grating Area: 5.25'' x 4.25'' Dimensions: 10.25'' x 5'' x 4.25'' We recommend rinsing your grater in warm water immediately after each use. Remove particles stuck in the blade from the back side whenever possible. To remove ''stuck on food'' from the front, first soak the tool in warm water and then use a cleaning brush and stroke in the same direction as the teeth. Store with cover on when not in use.
