Thermos Products
Since being founded in 1904, Thermos has created products that keep warm things warm and cold things cold longer than other storage containers. The company now offers a wide variety of storage containers and has new and classic products that can be found in almost every home or workplace.
Thermos beverage bottles are equipped with vacuum insulation to keep foods and drink fresh and at proper temperatures. This patented technology, TherMax vacuum insulation, prevents changes in food temperature and is achieved by creating a vacuum between two stainless steel walls.

The product was first introduced in 1966. IsoTec, the newest insulation technology used in Thermos IceBound lunch kits, is multi-layered, achieving food temperature retention for a whole meal-drinks and desserts included. Layers in IsoTec technology include PVC lining that is 100% leak-proof, polyetheline foam, moisture repellant lining, and high denier textile. Glass vacuum technology, which is ideal for warm foods, was developed for the company in 1911, and Thermos is still the leader in glass technology. Most thermos mugs can fit into vehicle cupholders, and dairy products like milk or yogurt can be stored in the mugs throughout the day. Thermos mugs also include container tops that double as mugs, so you don't have to bring an extra cup to enjoy your beverages, or a bowl for soups and stews.
To store solid foods like fruits and vegetables, Thermos offers the Food Jar,, with stainless steel interior, insulation to for ideal food temperatures, and a leak-proof lid. These jars come in a variety of sizes, and can be used for camping trips, picnics, or to keep lunch or dinner warm during the day. The Food Jar, introduced in 1957, is among Thermos' most famous and widely sold products.
For children, Thermos has lunch box/mug combinations in a variety of colors and styles. These are perhaps some of the oldest and most reliable products available through the Thermos company. The Thermos lunchbox was officially introduced in 1953, sold over 2,000,000 in the first year, and is still one of the most popular lunchboxes on the market. Lunchbox combinations are usually created using popular cartoon characters, so the designs change over time, but 'the classics' are still available; current designs include Barbie, Polly Pocket, Spiderman, Finding Nemo, and Scooby Doo. All lunchboxes come with an 8 oz. sport bottle, and lunchboxes are either plastic or fabric that is durable and easy to clean.
Grownups can have lunchboxes, too. Thermos sells mini-coolers with mugs or sports bottles, and they are all available in polyester for easy cleaning. Up to six cans can fit into the coolers, or there's even a cell phone pocket for added convenience. Coolers come with leak-proof lining and a lifetime warranty.
When cleaning Thermos products, never use bleach or harsh detergent; a mild dishwashing liquid is sufficient. Use a damp washcloth or sponge to clean the exterior of lunchboxes or Thermos mugs, and rinse mugs after each use with warm water-if beverages have been in the mug for hours, soaking the mug for a few minutes is best to keep the mug fresh for further use.
Thermos also has wonderful gifts for family and friends. Products like the Mouse Pad Organizer, the Executive Desk Organizer, or the Briefcase Beverage Bottle are ideal gifts for the businessperson on the go. Organizer sets come with a travel mug, a sticky notes dispenser compartment, and pen/pencil holders.
